The Network, Inc. Names Halphen Vice President of Product Development

Norcross, Georgia – December 13, 2004

The Network, Inc., a leading provider of ethics hotlines and claim reporting services, announced today the promotion of Gerry Halphen to Vice President of Product Development.

Halphen joined The Network in February 2003 as the company’s Director of Product Development. Since then, he has been instrumental in the development of The Network’s Case Management software, which has been embraced by a number of the nation’s largest employers. Halphen has also driven the company’s efforts to package its ReportLine SM, NetClaim SM, and Critical Incident Reporting services.

As Vice President of Product Development, Halphen will be responsible for defining the strategic direction for new products, as well as guiding enhancements to existing products and services.

Prior to joining The Network, Halphen held sales, operations and product management positions at companies such as Internet Security Systems, Nexchange Corporation and Andersen Consulting.

Halphen holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Georgetown University and served as an aviation officer in the United States Army for eight years.
